It's Christmas time at CCA!!! You will have the opportunity TODAY to express your inner Christmas spirit! In home room you will have a chance to buy a wrist-band, for only a dollar a day! With the wrist-band, you will be able to wear Christmas apparel including Christmas sweaters and t-shirts, santa hats, elf shoes, Christmas lights, and other Christmas accessories. However, in order to participate you MUST have a wrist-band and CCA bottoms. So don't be a Grinch or a Scrooge, show your Christmas spirit! All proceeds will go to Edifice.

December 18, 1865: Slavery is abolished in the United States as the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution is ratified. Many of the abolitionists who pushed for its passage were Christians seeking to make America more like the Kingdom of God.

The Middle School Art room 33009 has Dalit Freedom Network cups for sale, first come first serve, for $1. Each cup feeds 4 Dalit children for one day. The cup includes a plant of choice, the painted cup, and more information on Dalit Child Sponsorship. Come by during lunch or right after school while supplies last.

The varsity boys fought back from a 22 point deficit to get within 7, but fell short in the loss. Chris Walkerow led the Eagles with 19 points.

A tough and competitive game! Stopper, Freshman Stephanie Seagal and goalie Brianna Schieffer held the defense as our offense adjusted. With a few minutes in the 2nd half, 8th grader Karly Palmar score after receiving the ball in the area. With about 10minutes in the game WA score a goal which surprising our goalie. Carli Deibel dribbled a few mid-fielders, and invaded the area dribbling the defender and shoving the ball in the goal to lead the Eagles 2x1. Stopper, Freshman Stephanie Seagal gave 110% in the match and shutted down WA's stickers to keep the lead in the match.

Luke Jackson scored his tenth goal of the season and Jason Rich his first in a 2-0 win. Vinnie O'Hare had the shutout in goal.

CCA Fine Arts presents the Choral & Band Christmas Concert Christmas Around the World TONIGHT at 7:00 in the Theatre. This is a free event.
Students, and especially seniors, be sure to get your service hours completed. This is a requirement for graduation. The guidance office can tell you how many hours you still need to complete in order to graduate. Be sure to get it done. The Christmas break can be a great time to serve others and by doing so, to get your service hours completed. Think about it and make it happen.
