High School News:

All High School Students are to meet in the Theater for small group time TODAY.

Students are WELCOME to visit the library before school or during lunch as long as they receive a pass from Reception (There are 20 orange passes available).  Please remember there is NO food or drinks allowed in the DB building or the new Library Media Center. Also, NO pass is required to drop off or renew books on your way to lunch and no pass is required to use the Library after school.

Want to run for Student Council?  Have your papers turned into Doc Wormsley by the end of school TOMORROW so your team can be placed on a ticket.  Also, you will need to have your campaign signs and banners approved by Doc Wormsley before placing and distributing them around the school.

Students, do not ride the elevator unless you have an elevator pass due to a medical reason.  There are consequences for disobeying this rule, but the consequences are so heinous that I can't bear to read them over the air.  Teachers, please send the names of students riding the elevator to Jeff Perrin.

August 31-
On this day in 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales, dies in Paris' Pitie-Salpetiere Hospital after suffering massive chest injuries in an early morning car accident. Diana's bodyguard, Trevor Rees Jones, escaped with serious but nonfatal injuries. He was the only one wearing his seat belt. The death of Diana, beloved by millions for her beauty and good nature, plunged the world into mourning.
