I was at the beach the other day and saw a pirate. The odd thing was that he was wearing a paper towel on his head. I was so curious that I had to ask him about it, so I said, "Excuse me pirate, sir, but what's with the paper towel? He looked at me angrily and said, "Arrggh, there's a bounty on me head."

The butcher says "Yes", so the man said: "I bet you fifty bucks that you can't reach up and touch that meat hanging on the hooks up there." The butcher says "I'm not betting on that." "But I thought you were a gambling man" the man retorts. "Yes, I am," says the butcher, "but the steaks are too high."

The Word of God for the Day

John 14:1   'Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.'

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day

The rich industrialist from the North was horrified to find the southern fisherman lying lazily beside his boat, enjoying himself, just looking out at the ocean.
"Why aren't you out fishing?" said the industrialist.
"Because I have caught enough fish for the day," said the fisherman.
"Why don't you catch some more?"
"What would I do with them?"
"You could earn more money," was the industrialist's reply. "With that you could have a motor fixed to your boat and go into deeper waters and catch more fish. Then you would make enough to buy nylon nets. These would bring you more fish and more money. Soon you would have enough money to own two boats . . . maybe even a fleet of boats. Then you would be a rich man like me."
"What would I do then?" asked the fisherman.
"Then you could really enjoy life."
"What do you think I am doing right now?"
