Freshman will be meeting in the Green Room

Juniors may choose to attend either Chapel

Students, please bring your yearbooks to home room so that the yearbook staff can make an addition to your yearbook during this time.

Your homeroom teachers have overdue notices for materials due back to the library. If you receive one of these notices, please come to the library in room 2250 to take care of your account. Thank you for being good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with.

If you are interested in checking out books for the summer, registration is required. You may visit the library between May 28-June 4 to check out your books. All items will be due back on the 1st day of school.

On Monday, May 24, there will be a mandatory football meeting right after school (3:10 PM) in the COMMONS for everyone that is looking to play football next year, even if you didn't participate in the Spring. Important information will be discussed for the summer and fall.

Attention Students: Go green and be a blessing!

As you begin locker clean up please take note of donation boxes that will be made available in the hallway by your lockers during your locker clean up day. These boxes are for donations of any gently used school supplies. These will be passed on to needy children and or go to Trash to Treasure.

On This Day in History

1649
. The Toleration Act was passed by the Maryland Assembly. The act protected Roman Catholics within the colony against Protestant harassment, which was rising due to Cromwell's rise to power in England in 1642.

According to tradition, on April 21, 753 B.C., Romulus and his twin brother, Remus, found Rome on the site where they were suckled by a she-wolf as orphaned infants. Actually, the Romulus and Remus myth originated sometime in the fourth century B.C., and the exact date of Rome's founding was set by the Roman scholar Marcus Terentius Varro in the first century B.C.

The Word of God for the Day

Psalm 37:4   Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day

One afternoon centuries ago, some Eskimos got so cold while they were out fishing that they lit a fire in the bottom of their kayak. Unfortunately their kayak caught on fire and sank. The moral: "You can't have your kayak and heat it too."
