High School News:
This morning you will receive a form in homeroom announcing special elections for Student Council. If you are interested in running as your class representative, join up with 4 of your classmates to run as a group. You will need a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Liaison to complete your ticket. Turn yours in today and start campaigning. See Doc Wormsley to turn in your paperwork and to get campaigning information.
Please be reminded that the deadline to order your 1st semester novels is TOMORROW. Your orders need to be placed through our CCAEagles.org website by midnight on Tuesday. If you don't have your 1st semester novels there is still time to order. Novels will be delivered to your teacher's classroom. How convenient!
Seniors, if you haven't had your senior portrait taken, please do so before the end of this month or you won't be featured in the yearbook. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Cruz.

Make-up auditions for the Dance Concert, Beauty for Ashes, will be held afterschool TODAY in the Discipleship Bldg dance room at 3:15pm.

August 30- On this day in 1967, Thurgood Marshall becomes the first African American to be confirmed as a Supreme Court justice. He would remain on the Supreme Court for 24 years before retiring for health reasons, leaving a legacy of upholding the rights of the individual as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution
