Come and join CCA's Bravo Theatre Company as they perform pieces written by one of the world's most beloved authors, Shel Silverstein, including a moving performance of his most famous work, The Giving Tree. They will be hosting a coffee house in the Black Box next Wednesday, October 28th from 3:15 - 4:30, with baked goods and beverages for sale. Entry fee is $2. The money raised will go towards the Theatre Department. Please come out and support your peers!

Juniors and Seniors, please show great maturity as you enjoy the adult dining environment in the Grill.  Thanks to all who have represented CCA well in the Grill; and for those who need to show greater maturity and respect while there, please do so.  Please understand that tables need to be limited to 5 or 6 students and the Grill asks that you not switch tables during lunch.  Also, please remember that servers in restaurants depend upon tips to make their wage to be a worthwhile wage, so tip your servers well.

Score 2-1, 17-25, 25-17, 11-15
CCA win or loss CCA Loss

Highlights (Key plays/God moments)

The Lady Eagles did not play their best volleyball and lost to a team that they had previously beaten quite easily. It was very disappointing for them but they had a great year. Caitlin Cortney, Emily Taylor and Alexa Romagnolo played well for us tonight.  Coach Mike opened the game with a prayer and I closed it. I was very proud of the players and felt honored to have the pleasure of coaching very talented athletes. My most valuable player award would have to be shared by Bethany and Emily Taylor. Looking forward to next year and wishing the ladies all the best.

The Word of God for the Day

Galatians 5:22    But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day

A doctor says to his patient, "I have bad news and worse news".

"Oh dear, what's the bad news?" asks the patient.

The doctor replies, "I have a message for you from the lab that did your blood-work that says you only have 24 hours to live."

"That's terrible", said the patient. "How can the news possibly be worse?"

The doctor replies, "I've been trying to contact you since yesterday."
