The CCA baseball team secured first place in district standings by defeating CSCA Saturday 8-2. The eagles were lead by the middle of the line up as clean-up hitter Dalton Dinatale who homered, drove in 3, and was 3-3. Taylor Gushue also homered his 11th of the season. Luke Jackson had 3 RBI, and hit a 2-run homer, as well as pitching 3 2/3 innings in relief of starter Seth Natal who earned his 5th victory of the season. The eagles complete the regular season this week w/ home games Tues. @3:30 and Senior Day Friday @ 4pm.

1995 - Just after 9 a.m., a massive truck bomb explodes outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The blast collapsed the north face of the nine-story building, instantly killing more than 100 people and trapping dozens more in the rubble. Emergency crews raced to Oklahoma City from across the country, and when the rescue effort finally ended two weeks later the death toll stood at 168 people killed, including 19 young children who were in the building's day-care center at the time of the blast.

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day
Yesterday I was walking through the parking lot and saw to guys using a coat hanger to get into their car because they had locked the doors and left the keys in the ignition. One of the guys said to the other one, you had better hurry because it is starting to rain and we left the top down.
