All of these winners will be treated to a special patriotic cake and ice cream event in Mrs. Perrin's room one lunchtime AFTER Thanksgiving. This will be hosted by her APUSH students. Special thanks go to Mr. Merrill for the display background to the Wall of Heroes and to Drew Anderson and Flo Yalale for coordinating the day.

CCA's Thespian Troupe 6817 will attend district evaluations this Saturday at Coral Springs High School. Please remember them in prayer as they perform - shining their light for Christ to hundreds of other high school students, teachers and judges.
Journey, CCA's first literary magazine, is calling for entries. So if you want to show the world your art skills, enter Journey's Writing, Art, and Photography competition by December 1, 2010. The winners will be published in this beautiful, full color, glossy publication which will be published in the Spring of 2011. Originality plays a major role in all art competitions so make sure that you only send out your best work. For details, go to the CCA website's home page and click on the Journey icon.

Anyone interested in Lacrosse camp please come pick up a flyer in the front office, or come by the athletics office. Lacrosse camp is for boys and girls through 12th grade, and is Dec 4th and 5th.

November 18, 1928: Mickey Mouse debuts. Cartoon star Mickey Mouse appears in Steamboat Willie, an animated short produced by Walt Disney. Steamboat Willie was the first fully synchronized sound cartoon ever produced, with Mickey's squeaky voice provided by Walt Disney himself.
