High School News:

The top 15 finalists (of more than 50 entries) have been selected to represent CCA this month at the ACSI Creative Writing Contest in Jupiter. Their poems, shorts stories and essays will be evaluated by a panel of three judges who will score the entries based on a standard of excellence, ranging from good to excellent to superior.

The Game Club
will meet TODAY during lunch in Doc's room, 34028.  Come join us to play board games, share in fellowship, and have fun!

AP History Club will meet TODAY during lunch in Rooms 33021 and 33025

Photography Club will meet TOMORROW where we will practice studio photography

TOMORROW
there will be a Babysitting Club meeting at Lunchtime in Mrs. Perrin's room on the 3rd floor. If you are interested in this club, you must attend this meeting.


The Higher Thinking Club will host a lunch discussion series on WEDNESDAY on the Rise of Islam.  Bring your lunch and join us!

 

Athletics News:  Go CCA Eagles!

 


There will be a Track and Field Parent Meeting
TONIGHT after practice at 5:30 in the commons area. If you are participating in track please let one parent know that they should attend this meeting.

Attention all High School students... the CCA Powderpuff Football team is going to take on Westminster Academy TONIGHT at the WA Sports Complex at 7:30. Wear your CCA-spirit colors, and come out and cheer on the CCA lady Eagles as they take on the WA Lions on the big field! There will be food and lots of fun, admission to the game is just $2. Let's go CCA Eagles!

The team photos for Soccer, Basketball, and Cheerleading are in. If you ordered a picture, please get it from your coach. If your season is finished, you can come by the Athletic office to get your team picture.

The Eagles connected on 14 three-pointers, including 7 by Ben Mayell and 3 by Javan Shashaty. Sean Lashbrook pulled down 10 rebounds and Alex Garner led the defense with 6 steals.
