Once again we are at our Knit's End TODAY.  We welcome all willing hands to join us as we crochet for our troops.  Crochet hooks will be provided if you forget yours or if you are brand new to this craft.  Looking forward to seeing you in room 34031 by 3:15 today.

Chem Club meets TODAY during lunch in room 34031.  We will again be testing for proteins, sugars, and fats. Members are working toward developing the lab outreach activity to the 4th grade, so members don't forget to pick up your permission slips from Mrs. Bernat if you want to participate.  Let's goggle up for another great opportunity to minister in the CCA community and meet in room 34031 during lunch today.

On This Day in History

Silence was imposed on the Augustinian monks in the Roman Catholic Church by Pope Leo X.

On this day in 1881, Joseph A. Galamb, a Ford Motor Company engineer and a member of the team of engineers that developed the Model T, was born in Mako, Hungary. The Model T design would change automotive history with its reliability, affordability, and capacity for mass production. "If you freeze the design and concentrate on production," Ford explained, "as the volume goes up, the cars are certain to become cheaper."

The Word of God for the Day

Romans 12:9   Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day

Sam: One day, while shaving, I cut my cheek so badly that I had to have skin grafted from another part of my body.

Pam: What part?

Sam: I'm not sure, but when I'm feeling tired, my face wants to sit down.
