There will be winners in 3 secondary categories. All entries are due by April 14th, so stop by the library and get your entry form today!

Athletics News:
The varsity baseball team beat Somerset academy Thurs. afternoon 13-3. The eagles were led offensively by Anthony Avila who was 2-3, Emilio Desilva on base every at bat, Andrew Liberty a 3- run Home run, Taylor Gushue a solo Home run and Chris Walkerow driving in 2 runs and throwing a scoreless 5th inning in relief. Tyler Middlebrooks a momentum changing scoreless 4th inning on the mound got the eagles going. The eagles are back in action Tues. vs Dade Christian.
The boys and girls tennis teams completed their regular season with 5-2 wins over Coral Springs Charter in preparation for district competition next Monday. The boys record was 7-3 while the girls went 6-5. Congratulations on a year filled with many improvements!
The Varsity Girls Softball team defeated Pine Crest yesterday with a final score of 4-0. Key players were Shelby Gilreath who went 3-3 with 3 RBI's, Tina Diebel who had a double and a walk and Katie Gottfried who pitched 6 strikeouts. Two girls from Pine Crest prayed with us after the game.
Thursday evening Your CCA Eagles travelled to South Plantation to take on the CSCA Crusaders. The crusaders jumped out to an early lead and led 3-1 at halftime. The eagles game roaring back and scored 8 unanswered goals to close out the season with a 9-3 victory. Each team honored their soon to be graduating seniors and families at halftime. Both teams joined together at midfield and one of the CSCA players led us in prayer. The team would like to say thank you for all the support from family, friends, students and staff. The team looks forward to an even greater season next year.
