High School News:
Seniors...there will be a meeting in the Guidance Lounge after chapel TOMORROW to finalize the plan for the Senior Chapel on Friday, May 13.
Ladies who are planning to attend the Prom...although you were told earlier that a picture of you wearing your dress needed to be emailed for approval, it is no longer necessary do send that picture. Have fun shopping for your dress!
Attention rising 10th and 12th graders, if you are interested in being a student leader for next year's Bahamas Mission Trip, please remember to turn your application in to Mr. Ellis by Friday May 6th.
We are looking for some students who would like to earn hours to go towards their trip to Mexico. All you need to do is show up at 7:30 am or 3:00 pm and hold a sign to promote our Rummage Sale to Mexico. If you are interested please meet Mrs. Barnett in the front of the Discipleship Building at one of those time slots.
If you are a senior and ordered Announcements please see Mrs. Barnett to pick them up.
Students, if you would like a copy of the 2011 Florida Driver's Handbook, copies are available in the Reception Office.
The High School Awards ceremony will be Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00pm in the Theater. Hors d'oeuvres will be served before the ceremony beginning at 6:15pm. Please register for this free event at ccaeagles.org under events.
Athletics News:
The Varsity Girls Softball team faced King's Academy yesterday in the Regional Quarter Final game. We were down 1-0 until the bottom of the 6th inning when Katie Gottfried had a clutch hit with two outs that allowed Monica Quijano to score to tie the game! The Lady Eagles went on to score another run in the bottom of the 7th to beat King's Academy with a final score of 2-1. Key players were Katie Gottfried, Deborah Gordon and Brooke Slade. The Lady Eagles will be back in action on Friday and will face American Heritage Delray for the Regional Semi-finals.

Congratulations to all of the new Middle School and Varsity Cheerleaders. Please note that there is a mandatory uniform fitting TODAY right after school in meeting room #2 and a parent meeting at 5:00 in the same room. Please be there as your coaches have vital information about camp and practice schedules.
For all 8th through 11th graders boys playing football, equipment issue will be after school TODAY in the 6290 building. Please make sure you have registered to play on-line. You will not be able to practice until you have registered and completed the appropriate paperwork.
