ATHLETICS NEWS: Go CCA Eagles!
The Calvary JV golf team lost to Pine Crest 147 - 162. Andrew Boynton led the team once again with a 37. Give it up for Hunter Gee - who carded a 38 and had a birdie 2 on hole #7. Praise God!
In Girls golf Shelby Groeneveld's 40 and Allison Ridenour's 47 led the Eagles as they were defeated by Pinecrest yesterday in girls golf.
The Boys varsity golf team fell yesterday to pine crest 172 - 162. Leading the way for the eagles was Robby stehlin with a 41. Other scores included ty Middlebrooks (43) Jake Middlebrooks (44) & Derek butts (44)
The Girls Cross Country team finished 2nd out of 10 teams at their meet in Plantation yesterday. They were once again led by Emily Groeneveld, Noel Picinich, and Kala Hennessey who finished 5th, 6th, and 7th overall in the race. The girls improved their record to 16-2.
The Boys Cross Country team finished 4th out of 10 teams in their race. They were led by Chaney Oswell who placed 4th out of over 50 runners finishing in 19:07 while John Bartos placed 11th overall with a time of 20:13. The boys also improved their record to 14-4
The Varsity Volleyball team was victorious over Yeshiva yesterday, 3 games to 0. The scores were: 25-1, 25-5 & 25-7. Top players were Alexa Romagnolo, Caitlin Coartney & Jeri-Nicole Kendall. Good job ladies, lets get ready for districts at the end of the month!
