Homecoming week is next week! Hopefully you're all geared up and ready to go in helping your class earn the coveted Most Spirited Class award. This year the staff will be a part of the competition also! You should have received the packet in the mail explaining all of the activities for the week. If you did not, it can be downloaded from the CCA website.

The Homecoming Social on Saturday the 23rd is at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale. In order to participate, you must register online and pay a $5 fee. Also, a signed covenant must be turned in to your homeroom teacher by Wednesday, October 20th in order for you to get in to the Social.

On This Day in History

October 14, 1735:
John and Charles Wesley, cofounders of Methodism, set sail for ministry in America.

The Word of God for the Day

The verse of the day comes from Susy Urrutia:

Col 3:15   Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day

Why is math always sad?

Because it has so many problems.
