Athletics News:
Tuesday the CCA lacrosse team had its full team together for the first time since before the break. The Eagles travelled to Cooper City to play the Cowboys. The Cowboys were too much for the Eagles to handle with the final score being 14-4. One of the Cowboys joined us for our post game prayer led by Keith Kerrigan.
The Varsity Girls Softball team defeated The Kings Academy yesterday with a final score of 5-2. Key players were Suzi Trick who went 3-3 with two doubles and a single, Katie Gottfried who struck 6 girls out, Shelby Gilreath and Tina Deibel who were both 2-3 with a double and a single. We shared a nice time of prayer after the game.
Varsity Baseball team beat Coral Springs Christian yesterday at home 9-3 behind the outstanding pitching of Ryan Lowrey and Seth Natal. The Eagles scratched out ten hits over the contest and scored 7 runs at the bottom of the sixth. Ryan Reilly broke it open with an RBI double and several Eagles followed. The Eagles are 8-5 and 4-0 in district play.

Club News:
F.I.G.H.T. Club will meet TOMORROW
On This Day in History
On this day in 1839, the initials "O.K." are first published in The Boston Morning Post. Meant as an abbreviation for "oll correct," a popular slang misspelling of "all correct" at the time, OK steadily made its way into the everyday speech of Americans.
The Word of God for the Day
Psalm 94:18-19 When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.
