High School News:

See You at the Pole ~ Wednesday, September 22, 7am at the Calvary Park

In early 1990, a small group of teenagers in Burleson, Texas, came together to seek God and little did they know how powerfully He was about to move as they prayed for their friends, schools, and leaders. Flash forward.2010. Teenagers across the country still meet at their schools' flagpoles and we're doing the same. Come join us!

Reminder: The Florida Christian College Fair is on Wednesday, September 22nd
from 3:30 to 5:30 in the Gymnasium
.

This is a great time to meet with college admissions representatives from many Christian Colleges and gain important information regarding your future. For a list of the schools that will be represented, please see the guidance portion of the CCA website. If you have any questions, please see Miss Stapleton or Mrs. Getty. See you then!

Secondary Students and Staff - Picture Day is on Thursday, September 23.

Students, please be in uniform and have your payment form with you. Teachers, please send students down to the theater area at their designated times and make sure to come down to have your photo taken as well.

Attention actors and actresses: there will be an open casting for 2 CCA short films on Friday afternoon. If you cannot make that casting because of drama rehearsal or sports, there will be another casting on Thursday during lunch. Please see Mr. Negron or visit the Fine Arts office for more details.

The Word of God for the Day

Psalm 18:2   The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day

This one comes from one of our Spanish Teachers.

The man was backing out of his driveway and ran over the tail of his neighbor's cat --- and the cat's tail fell off.

His wife came running out of the house, shouting, "QUICK!  Take it to Wal*Mart!  Take it to Wal*Mart!"

"Why should I take this poor cat to Wal*Mart?", the man queried.

"Because it's the largest retailer in the country!"
