High School News:
Reminder: The Florida Christian College Fair is TODAY September 22nd
from 3:30 to 5:30 in the Gymnasium.
This is a great time to meet with college admissions representatives from many Christian Colleges and gain important information regarding your future. For a list of the schools that will be represented, please see the guidance portion of the CCA website. If you have any questions, please see Miss Stapleton or Mrs. Getty. See you then!
Secondary Students and Staff - Picture Day is TOMORROW
Students, please be in uniform and have your payment form with you. Teachers, please send students down to the theater area at their designated times and make sure to come down to have your photo taken as well.
Attention actors and actresses: there will be an open casting for 2 CCA short films on Friday afternoon. If you cannot make that casting because of drama rehearsal or sports, there will be another casting on Thursday during lunch. Please see Mr. Negron or visit the Fine Arts office for more details.
If you were absent on Friday or for some reason did not receive a Pursuit T-Shirt in chapel last week please stop by Mrs. Barnett's office to pick yours up.
ATHLETICS NEWS: Go CCA Eagles!
The Boys Varsity golf team was victorious over Westminster Academy and Highlands yesterday!! CCA-173, WA- 187, Highlands-222. Leading the way for CCA was Robby Stehlin with a 39. Other scores included Jake Middlebrooks 44, Kyle Livesay 44 & Tyler Weber 46
Jupiter Christian defeated the Calvary JV golf team by a score of 202 to 221. Andrew Boynton led all scorers with a 46. Andrew Koelle carded a 56 to break into the top 4 for CCA in his first match. The golf scores might not have been our best but the friendships gained with the Jupiter team was what participating in sports is all about.
The girls and boys Varsity cross country teams both defeated Chaminade, Sheridan Hills, Wellington, Posnack, and St. Marks but lost to University in their first regular season race of the season. Both teams hold a record of 5-1. The girls were led by Noel Picinich who came in 3rd place overall with a time of 24:11 followed by Emily Groeneveld who came in 4th and Kala Hennessey who placed 5th. The boys were once again led by Chaney Oswell who finished 2nd place overall with a time of 19:07. Jordan Campbell finished in 6th place and John Barots placed 7th.
