The CCA varsity lacrosse team played a hard fought game with Douglas losing 15-1. The team never gave up and the score is not indicative of the effort. Both teams shared a prayer together after the game. A big thank you to all our lacrosse supporters.
Regional Quarter Final Girls Varsity Basketball- Calvary 62 Benjamin 52
Calvary took advantage of a 15 point out burst by Rayana Carnerio in the 3Q to take their first lead of the game. Down by as much as 10 in the first, The eagles showed incredible resolve and Kylie Hornsby, Lizzie Dougherty, and Ali Ridinhour carried us in Rayana's absence due to some early foul trouble. Deborah Gordon as usual completely dominated the game. 15 pts 18 rebounds. I have to take a moment to thank all the fans that came out to support us. They were amazing. The other team was so impressed by the support we received. They were ministered by it.
The Varsity Girls Softball team defeated Pine Crest yesterday with a final score of 3-1. Key Players were Katie Gottfried, Suzi Trick, Shelby Gilreath and Tina Diebel.
Please pray for our CCA wrestling team as they compete in the Regional Championships today and tomorrow at Cardinal Gibbons High School.
