The National Christian College Fair is coming to CCA on Wednesday March 2 from 3pm - 4:30pm in the gym. This is a free event and is open to all High School students and parents as well as the community, so feel free to invite your friends that do not attend CCA. Don't miss this valuable opportunity to meet representatives and gather information from Christian Colleges!
All students wishing to apply and audition for a Fine Arts Endorsement should pick up an application in the Performing Arts Office. We are also available to answer any of your questions.
Athletics News:
CCA Varsity Lacrosse team scored twice in the first half, ending the half at 3-2. We were not able to keep up with Coral Reef and eventually succumbed 16-2. The entire Coral Reef team joined us at the midfield for a prayer after the game. Once again thank you family and friends for all your support.
The Varsity Girls Softball team defeated Westminster Academy on Thursday with a final score of 11-1. Key players were Suzi Trick with her second homerun of the season, Katie Gottfried, Tina Deibel and Shelby Gilreath.

February 22, 1980 - In one of the most dramatic upsets in Olympic history, the underdog U.S. hockey team, made up of college players, defeats the four-time defending gold-medal winning Soviet team at the XIII Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid, New York. The Soviet squad, previously regarded as the finest in the world, fell to the youthful American team 4-3 before a frenzied crowd of 10,000 spectators. Two days later, the Americans defeated Finland 4-2 to clinch the hockey gold.

The tech guys at Calvary came to work on my computer. For one part of what they were doing they needed my password so I told them, "Micky, Minnie, Daffy, Donald, Grumpy, Sneezy and Snow White." The tech guys seemed amazed and said, "You can't have a password that long!" I said, "But you guys said it had to be seven characters."
