High School News:
Liberty University will be visiting CCA TODAY during block 1. If you are interested in attending this event, please register with Mrs. Vargas in the Guidance Department.
All students wishing to apply and audition for a Fine Arts Endorsement should pick up an application in the Performing Arts Office. We are also available to answer any of your questions.
Athletics News:
The Eagles baseball team came from behind to win their opening game yesterday 7-5 against American Heritage Plantation. Chris Walkerow hit a home run and pitched the final two innings for the win. Tyler Middlebrooks and Anthony Avila also hit home runs for CCA. Seth Natal pitched four innings and drove in the go ahead run in the last inning. Next game is Wednesday at 4 PM against the Columbus Explorers at Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines.
On a picture perfect day, the CCA varsity lacrosse scored an impressive 8-6 victory over Taravella yesterday. The Eagles had the lead from the start and with some good defense and timely goalie play never looked back. One member of the Taravella team joined us as we shared our post game prayer at the midfield.
