High School News:
There will be a mandatory senior meeting for all seniors TOMORROW at 2:30 in Meeting Rm 2. This meeting is for ordering Announcements for Graduation and for cap and gown measurements. All senior must attend in order to be measured. Please be sure to be on time.
All students wishing to apply and audition for a Fine Arts Endorsement should pick up an application in the Performing Arts Office. We are also available to answer any of your questions.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lauk's homeroom in winning the can food drive for SouperBowl of Caring. They brought in over 100 cans of food and collected $20 in cash! Nice job!
Athletics News:
The girls basketball team lost the regional semi-final game against Sagemont 48-46 on a last second shot. It was a grand effort coming back from a 9 point deficit to tie the game at 46. The CCA Lady Eagles, who won the District Championship a week ago, have set the mark as the best basketball team in CCA history. But, it was their character that made them gather after this excruciating loss and sign "To God be the Glory". Thanks to all the cheerleaders, students, parents, and faculty for cheering for this special group of ladies.
Both tennis teams defeated Chaminade-Maddona yesterday by a score of 4-3. Singles winners were Caleb Couvitier, Jason Day, Kristi Pitts, and Emily Groeneveld. Emily and Isabela Umana's doubles victory was the key match for the girls team.
The Varsity Girls Softball team defeated St. Andrews yesterday with a final score of 9-0. Key players were Suzi Trick, Shelby Gilreath, Jessica Schoonover and Michelle Nguyen. The girls had a nice of prayer after the game with St. Andrews.
