High School News:
Students, please do not enter the discipleship building until 7:50 in the morning and after lunch please do not enter until 11:58. You may wait in air conditioned comfort in the cafeteria. Entering the building prior to 7:50 or before 11:58 after lunch is a rule infraction that leads to a detention.
There will be a mandatory senior meeting for all seniors TOMORROW at 2:30 in Room 34001. This meeting is for ordering Announcements for Graduation and for cap and gown measurements. All senior must attend in order to be measured. Please be sure to be on time.
The National Christian College Fair is coming to CCA on Wednesday March 2 from 3pm - 4:30pm in the gym. This is a free event and is open to all High School students and parents as well as the community, so feel free to invite your friends that do not attend CCA. Don't miss this valuable opportunity to meet representatives and gather information from Christian Colleges!
The Guidance Department is looking for volunteers to help set up and tear down the college fair on March 2. If you are interested in signing up to participate and earn community service hours for this, please see Mrs. Fairclough in the Guidance department.
All students wishing to apply and audition for a Fine Arts Endorsement should pick up an application in the Performing Arts Office. We are also available to answer any of your questions.

Athletics News:
The CCA Lacrosse team played a hard fought game with West Broward. There was a great amount of support as we played the game at a neutral field. While there were some encouraging moments, in the end the West Broward team was able to secure a 13-5 victory. As we always do after every game we share and give thanks at the center of the field.
The varsity baseball team won their home and district opener Tuesday afternoon 11-0. Tyler Middlebrooks was 2-2 w/ 2 runs scored. Emilio Desilva tripled and drove in 3. Seth Natal got the win w/ 3 strong innings. Ryan Lowery struck out the side in the 5th inning, for his fourth consecutive solid outing.
The Varsity Girls Softball team defeated The King's Academy yesterday with a final score of 1-0. Key players were Shelby Gilreath who had a double and a solo home run that went soaring to the parking lot. Katie Gottfried had 7 strikeouts.
The varsity boys tennis team defeated WA yesterday 6-1, while the girls lost 4-3. Caleb Couvetier led the boys with wins in singles and doubles.
