High School News:
Students - unless you receive notice from the school administration that the dress code has been adjusted for extreme weather, you are to be in dress code. And we don't plan on doing that very often. Here are three tips for how to stay in dress code even when it's cold.
· Number 1 - wear long john's, silks, long underwear, whatever you want to call it, under your warmest school uniform and then have an appropriate jacket on over it.
· Number 2 - Realize that you can wear the heaviest coat to brave the cold outside in the morning, just put it in your locker before homeroom.
· Number 3 - You can wear as many layers as you like under your uniform shirt.
Please do not bring blankets to school. Leave those in your bed.

On This Day in History
March 1, 1562 - French Protestants were slaughtered at the Massacre of Vassy, thus touching off the first of eight religious wars between the Huguenots and the Roman Catholics in France. These wars ended 36 years later, in 1598, when Henry IV of Bourbon issued the edict of Nantes, which granted political toleration of the Huguenots.
Jonah 4:2 .You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity.
