High School News:
Freshmen, sophomore, and junior students who were not able to or had difficulty registering for classes during your allotted time this week need to come to the 4th floor computer labs during lunch TODAY. If you do not complete this process, you may not be able to be part of classes you desire to take next year.
Also, if you did not add alternatives to your registration, you need to come to the labs in order to do so.
Students, it is very important that you do not leave your book bags unattended during the school day. We also suggest that you keep expensive valuables at home and bring minimal money to school. By doing this you will be less likely to lose it or have it go missing in some other way.
Ninth through eleventh graders who would like to apply for National Honor Society membership for the 2010 - 2011 school year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Brown in room 32031. Please note that students must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA. The applications and recommendation letters need to be returned to either Mrs. Brown or Mr. Jeske no later than Friday, April 16. No applications will be accepted after that date.
CLUBS:
Film Club will meet TODAY in Mr. Negron's room
Edifice will meet TODAY in Ms. Harrison's room

The State Showcase will be TOMORROW evening at 6:30 in the theatre. Tickets are $5 plus an item for our love bags that we will be handing out to homeless people in Tampa. On This Day in History
1740 - Construction began on the Bethseda Orphanage in Savannah, Georgia-the oldest existing orphanage in America. It was built and paid for from contributions raised by English revivalist George Whitefield through his public preaching both in England and America.
1890 - Billy Sunday, famed left fielder for the Chicago White Sox, gave up his successful career in baseball following his conversion to Christ. He soon became one of the most popular evangelists of his day. It is estimated that over 300,000 souls were converted through his evangelistic ministry before his death in 1935.
Psalm 4:8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day
A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start anything."
I went to a seafood disco last week....pulled a mussel.
