AP Spanish Students: remember your mock exam is TODAY @ 12noon in Sra. Mitchell's room. Please bring your lunch.
Freshmen: Your class selection starts this evening at 4:00PM and runs through 11:00PM. Scheduling priority will be determined by BOTH scheduling online AND returning you Course Selection form to Guidance. Information and instructions can be found on the CCA website.
Important: Incoming seniors and juniors, who have already scheduled, have first priority on classes. It is very important that all 9th graders select 4 alternate classes as it is likely your first choice will be filled. If you do not select alternates you will be placed in whatever class is available.
Are you interested in the sports medicine field? If so then this is for you. Next year we will be offering a class called sport injury management. This class will equip you with knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the human body impacted by athletic injuries. You will learn procedures and skills related to the nature, prevention, and rehab of athletic injuries. We will also be taking off-campus field trips to various facilities for hands on learning. If this sounds like something that interests you be sure to check the course guide when signing up for next year's classes.
Ninth through eleventh graders who would like to apply for National Honor Society membership for the 2010 - 2011 school year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Brown in room 32031. Please note that students must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA. The applications and recommendation letters need to be returned to either Mrs. Brown or Mr. Jeske no later than Friday, April 16. No applications will be accepted after that date.
The Golf Committee has organized a special half-day off school where students will participate in a kickball game and enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers and sodas if they make their goal of $40 (or more). How are you doing with your $40 for the golf tournament? Remember you're working towards your labs and your library and your effort and enthusiasm will be rewarded.
