On This Day in History

1941. On this day, President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Lend-Lease program, which provides money and materials for allies in the war, goes into effect.

1989. Reality-based TV show Cops is first broadcast nationally on this day in 1989 on the Fox network. Production crews rode with real patrol officers, filming whatever crime and violence occurred on the ride. Fledgling network Fox took the show after the major networks passed on it and stunned the industry by producing a popular show that spawned numerous other reality-based programs.

The Word of God for the Day

Joshua 1:8    Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

The Official CCA Bad Joke of the Day

2 antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married.  The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent!!!!!
